As with RV living, you can travel and have real adventures on the road all while taking your home with you. The bus also has a washer-and-dryer combo, a must-have when you have six kids around. Double Decker Bus Converted into a Motorhome. Upstairs are the bedrooms, with the kids' bunks and the other bathroom at the back. Behind that is the kitchen, with a large fridge and freezer separating the entrance from the rest of the bus. The motorhomes entrance is a convertible office that sits next to the drivers seat. Most of the exterior needs, however, are merely superficial. Built in 1953, this is a fixer-upper, and part of the roof may need to be replaced. Also, being only 11.5-feet tall, driving it under overpasses isnt a problem. The shower is situated between the first and second floor on the stairs, providing a tall space for the shower head. The Evelyn family found a solution, converting a double-decker bus into their two-story motorhome that features two bathrooms and a rooftop patio. For now, the Double Decker Family is just looking forward to getting their bus conversion completed so they can hit the road and begin exploring.
